Salmon Arm youth baseball under BC Minor Baseball was first established in 1978 as Shuswap West Minor Baseball. In 1980 the association changed names and became Salmon Arm Minor Baseball Association (SAMBA).
SAMBA has won several interior zone championships and provincial championships. Over the years several of SAMBA’s youth players have moved on to play at all levels of baseball from college to professional to national teams.
Baseball and youth development on and off the field has always been the priority of SAMBA and we are proud to continue that tradition 45 years later.
The Salmon Arm Minor Baseball Association (SAMBA) executive would like to welcome you to another season! We wanted to share a few things to familiarize you with baseball in Salmon Arm. The spring league season typically goes from late April to the end of June.
All Players will be receiving take home jerseys and hat.

Please appreciate the time volunteers spend to support your child’s baseball interest. More volunteers are always welcome and needed. You can also support your child and his/her team by helping rake and line fields, be a team manager or score keep. Being on the executive also allows you to offer ideas and suggestions to shape youth baseball in Salmon Arm.
